Interior Aluminum for Airstream and Vintage Trailers
The interior and the exterior of a trailer work together for structural integrity.
We suggest a structural alloy for interior in .032 thickness.
2024T3 alclad and 6061T6 are both good options.
2024T3 alclad is bright and shiny, showing very little grain, and comes in any length, available in 48" or 60" wide.
(also common for exterior)
6061T6 has more of a satin finish, still shiny but not as bright. 6061T6 is a good option if you are painting the interior because it is less expensive, or if you want more of a softer satin finish with a little of the grain showing
Available in 4ft x 12ft sheets only - not available in long lengths like the 2024T3
Both can be rolled for shipping.
2024T3 minimum to roll is 6ft, max 26ft for 48" or 20ft for 60"
